Terms and Conditions

Last updated: August 2, 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Tenhouse ("the app", "we", "us", "our"), a real-time multiplayer card game for Android and iOS. By downloading, accessing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Eligibility

Tenhouse is intended for users aged 13 and over. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority in your country, you should review these Terms with a parent or guardian.

2. The Service

Tenhouse is a free multiplayer card game based on the traditional game Dawlcuh. Players are matched together to play online, and empty seats may be filled by computer-controlled opponents ("bots"). You can also create private rooms and invite friends. The game runs on our server, which manages game rules and outcomes; the app on your device displays the game and sends your moves. An internet connection is required to play.

The app is provided free of charge. We do not sell any goods or services within the app.

3. Your Account, Profile, and Conduct

When you use the app, an anonymous account is created for you automatically. You set up a profile with a display name, avatar, and region. You are responsible for your profile information and for your behavior while using the app. You agree that you will not:

We may suspend or remove accounts or profiles that violate these rules.

4. Virtual Progression

The app includes virtual progression, such as experience points (XP), levels, and related stats. These have no real-world or monetary value. They cannot be purchased, sold, transferred, exchanged for cash, or redeemed for anything of value. We may adjust, reset, or remove virtual progression at any time. Progression tied to your account is stored in our database; deleting your account removes it as described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The app, including its name, logo, software, artwork, and design, is owned by us and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted are reserved. You may not use the Tenhouse name or logo without our permission.

6. Third-Party Services

The app is distributed through the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store, and your use of the app is also subject to their respective terms. Our authentication, database, and game servers are operated using third-party cloud infrastructure. Your use of these third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

7. Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information the app handles. You can read it here: Privacy Policy.

8. Availability and Changes to the Service

We provide the app on an ongoing but not guaranteed basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app or any part of it, including matchmaking, friends, and servers, at any time and without notice. We do not guarantee that the app will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will meet your requirements or that it will be secure or free of bugs, viruses, or errors.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app. Because the app is provided free of charge, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or misuse the app. You may stop using the app at any time. You may also delete your account from Settings, which permanently removes your cloud profile and associated data as described in our Privacy Policy. Deleting the app from your device does not by itself delete your cloud account.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the app after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States of America, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the app will be subject to the courts located in that jurisdiction.
